iTunes does a great job of listing the duplicate music in your library, however, it does not provide any help in deciding which files to remove, which Tune Sweeper can intuitively and automatically do. If you have a little extra time and patience to find and remove your iPhone duplicates, you can use iTunes' inbuilt functionality. Once you've deleted all your duplicate music from iTunes, you can go ahead and sync your iTunes library with your iPhone.

The reaction was performed under nitrogen atmosphere with reflux at 120 ☌ for 2 h. To this solution, 0.5 wt% and 0.1 wt%, respectively, of HQ (an inhibitor used to prevent vinyl and allyl polymerization possibility under the applied reaction condition) and Ph 3P (a catalyst applied to facilitate ring opening-based etherification reaction) with respect to the total weight of monomers were added. Briefly, equimolar amounts of the reactants, Eg and GMA, were homogenized, with stirring, in a three-necked round-bottom flask. Įugenyl-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (EgGMA) was synthesized using a previously reported method. Generally, the favored properties of any dental composite additive are its ability to demonstrate an effective antimicrobial activity without compromising cytotoxicity on human cells, and other desirable properties. Such behaviors may be a result of the crosslinking reaction due to the participation of the allylic group present in the eugenol derivatives. , who reported enhanced cement properties, including mechanical and bactericidal effect against certain bacteria strains. Moreover, an experiment concerning the formulation of various polymerizable Eg-derivatives for dental and orthopedic applications were conducted by Rojo et al. However, the polymerization degree of conversion, curing depths, and exotherm were decreased with respect to the increase in EgMA. investigated various properties of dual-cured dental composites incorporating eugenyl methacrylate (EgMA) as in post and core build-up restoration. In this context, a number of polymerizable Eg-derivates have been synthesized, and their physical, chemical, mechanical and biological properties have been reported. The overall cytotoxicity test against NIH/3T3 fibroblast cell line (NIH Swiss 3-day transfer, inoculum 3 × 10 5 cells) performed using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay revealed no cytotoxic effect on the tested normal cell line, demonstrating the ability to selectively kill microorganism cells with no or little damage to normal cells.Ĭonversion of Eg into polymerizable derivatives may be one solution to its unfavored properties, such as its strong odor and high volatility, for dental use. The antibacterial activity was again observed to be bacterial and substituent selective. , on the other hand, evaluated the antimicrobial and cytotoxicity characteristics of eugenol analogs prepared via acylation or alkylation methods (ester and ether products). However, many of these derivatives, ethers in particular, showed no or comparable activity compared to that of eugenol. prepared a series of eugenol derivatives, evaluated their antibacterial activity against a range of bacteria strains, and reported a derivative-dependent activity with noticeably high, broad-spectrum antibacterial activity of eugenyl p-bromobenzoate. Various derivatives of eugenol, targeting its hydroxyl functional group as a reacting site for production of, for example, esters or ethers with different substituents, have been prepared, and their properties, including antimicrobial and cytotoxicity, have been documented. Such potential properties may encourage further investigations on term of EgGMA amount optimization, compatibility with other dental resins, and antimicrobial activity. Thus, even though its apparent negative effect on polymerization, EgGMA is potentially safer than bisphenol-derived monomers. No significant difference was counted between TBEg2.5 and TBEg5, however, both differed significantly from the control (TBEg0). The cell viability test indicated that all the composites are biocompatible. The results revealed no significant difference in DC between TBEg2.5 (66.49%) and control (TBEg0 68.74%), whereas both differ significantly with TBEg5, likely due to the inhibitory effect of eugenol moiety at high concentration. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests. The vinylic double-bond conversion (DC) after light-curing was studied using Fourier transform infrared technique whereas cell viability was in vitro tested using primary human gingival fibroblasts cells over 7 days by means of AlamarBlue colorimetric assay. The target model composites (TBEg0, TBEg2.5, and TBEg5) were prepared by mixing 35% organic matrix (TEGDMA/BisGMA (50/50 wt%) of which 0, 2.5, and 5 wt%, respectively, were replaced with EgGMA monomer) with 65% filler (silanized hydroxyapatite (HA)/zinc oxide (ZnO 2), 4:3 by weight). The aim of this study was to evaluate the properties of new dental formulations containing eugenyl-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (EgGMA) monomer, as restorative dental material, in terms of their degree of photopolymerization and cytotoxicity. The destruction wrought by Dalamud and Bahamut caused mass upheaval in the land, altering the landscape and weather. Though the Battle took the lives of many, including Louisiox, Bahamut was cast down and the VIIth Legion annihilated thus severely crippling the Garlean Empire. This effort was thwarted by the sage Louisiox and his disciples, who called upon the power of their gods, The Twelve, to help stop Meteor and Bahamut. However, upon its descent it was revealed the Dalamud was no natural moon but a massive prison for the Primal, Bahamut. Spurred on by the mysterious beings known as Ascians, Nael Van Darnus led the VIIth Legion to Carteneau where they waged a bloody battle to cast Meteor and drop the moon, Dalamud, on the continent ending all life and the Primal threat. (Lore Note: The Allagan Empire was a technologically and magically advanced society that ruled Eorzea during the Third Astral Era.) The Allied Forces consisting of the three Grand Companies attempted to repel the invaders only to learn that the true plan that in order to end what the threat of the Primals forever they would need to use the power of the ancient Allagan magic Meteor. In the last days of the Sixth Astral Era, the Garlean Empire launched a full out assault on the continent of Eorzea. Offset printing is a widely used printing technique where the inked image is transferred (or "offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. Today, practically all movable type printing ultimately derives from Gutenberg's movable type printing, which is often regarded as the most important invention of the second millennium. The high quality and relatively low price of the Gutenberg Bible (1455) established the superiority of movable type, and printing presses rapidly spread across Europe, leading up to the Renaissance, and later all around the world. The metal type pieces were sturdier and the lettering more uniform, leading to typography and fonts. Johannes Gutenberg's work on the printing press began in approximately 1436 when he partnered with Andreas Dritzehen - a man he had previously instructed in gem-cutting-and Andreas Heilmann, owner of a paper mill. It was not until a 1439 lawsuit against Gutenberg that official record exists witnesses testimony discussed type, an inventory of metals (including lead) and his type mold.Ĭompared to woodblock printing, movable type page setting and printing using a press was faster and more durable. Movable type printingĪ case of cast metal type pieces and typeset matter in a composing stick. There is still some controversy among scholars as to whether their introduction preceded or, the majority view, followed the introduction of movable type, with the range of estimated dates being between about 14. These were all short heavily illustrated works, the bestsellers of the day, repeated in many different block-book versions: the Ars moriendi and the Biblia pauperum were the most common. These prints were produced in very large numbers from about 1425 onwards.Īround the mid-century, block-books, woodcut books with both text and images, usually carved in the same block, emerged as a cheaper alternative to manuscripts and books printed with movable type. Images printed on cloth for religious purposes could be quite large and elaborate, and when paper became relatively easily available, around 1400, the medium transferred very quickly to small woodcut religious images and playing cards printed on paper. Woodcut print dated 1423 of St Christopher from Buxheim on the Upper Rhineīlock printing first came to Christian Europe as a method for printing on cloth, where it was common by 1300. Block printing later went out of use in Islamic Central Asia after movable type printing was introduced from China. Though Europe adopted woodblock printing from the Muslim world, initially for fabric, the technique of metal block printing remained unknown in Europe. However, the techniques employed are uncertain and they appear to have had very little influence outside of the Muslim world. There is some evidence to suggest that the print blocks were made from non-wood materials, possibly tin, lead, or clay. Block printing, called tarsh in Arabic was developed in Arabic Egypt during the 9th-10th centuries, mostly for prayers and amulets. Woodblock printing on cloth appeared in Roman Egypt by the 4th century. However, unlike the diffusion of paper, printing techniques never spread to the Islamic world. Printing spread early to Korea and Japan who also used Chinese logograms but the techniques were also used in Turpan and Vietnam using a number of other scripts. A skilled printer could print up to 2,000 double-page sheets per day. The earliest surviving woodblock printed fragments are from China and are of silk printed with flowers in three colours from the Han Dynasty (before 220 AD), and the earliest example of woodblock printing on paper appeared in the mid-7th century in China.īy the 9th century printing on paper had taken off, with the first extant complete printed book, the Diamond Sutra in 868, and by the 10th century, 400,000 copies of some sutras and pictures were printed and the Confucian classics. Main article: History of printing in East Asia I’ve enjoyed smaller portions as a side or larger portions as a light meal. Toss all of those ingredients in a bold, homemade Italian vinaigrette and you will have a seriously addictive salad. The umami flavor in sun-dried tomatoes make up for the umami-rich pork that you usually find in Italian chopped salads. I also added celery for extra crunch, and sun-dried tomatoes for some extra oomph. First up, chickpeas, which aren’t uncommon but make this salad more hearty. You’ll find a few unexpected ingredients here that send this salad over the top. That said, you could easily skip it for a delicious dairy-free/vegan salad. I tried a few other kinds of cheese, but it’s no wonder provolone is the most common-it’s the tastiest. You’ll find most of the usual ingredients, including crisp lettuce, radicchio, red onion, fresh tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers and provolone cheese. I set out to create a better meatless Italian chopped salad, and here it is. Crispy bacon is the only meat I ever miss… To make this salad super enticing, layer the ingredients in a trifle bowl so you can see each veggie. In between, mix in fresh veggies like cauliflower, chicories, and chopped celery. Salad shooters with razor-sharp, stainless steel blades produce uniform slices that are hard to achieve when cutting and chopping by hand. This healthy chopped salad recipe starts with bulgur and ends with homemade olive dressing and crumbles of feta cheese. An on and off switch is really all you need to use a salad shooter. Thankfully, not much has changed since then. I requested the chopped salad without the bacon, and it was definitely missing that salty, savory, gimme-more edge without it. The original salad shooter had an elegant design and was simple to use. The motivation behind this salad recipe came when I ordered an Italian chopped salad and a pricy Neapolitan pizza down the street. Happened to me! I’ve enjoyed four iterations of this salad over the past couple of weeks (especially the final version you see here), and I’m still craving more. When you have a really great salad in the fridge, you might even reach for it before you grab the bag of chips. It’s the perfect accompaniment to your favorite Italian meal, and it’s also a nice hearty salad on its own. This Italian chopped salad recipe is bold, vibrant and truly irresistible. Starting with this gigantic, colorful, dare-I-say the best Italian chopped salad. I challenge us all to start making a giant fresh salad on Sundays, so we can eat salad all week long.
